When is comes to gaining gospel knowledge, it is best have your spiritual feast along with a  temporal one. 


Discover the home of the Bible and visit the sites of both the Old and New Testaments, focusing on the Life of Christ.  Every hill, every stone has a story to tell and a testimony to bare of the divinity of the Bible.  You will never read the scriptures the same as your mind and memory will take you to Israel and our journeys again and again.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day  1- Wednesday, March 01, 2017 Depart USA

Day  2- Thursday, March 02, 2017 Arrive Israel

Arrive Tel Aviv Israel and transfer to Jerusalem and overnight.

Day  3- Friday, March 03, 2017 Masada, Qumran- site of the Dead Sea Scrolls discovery, Jericho

We'll travel to Masada along the Jordan Rift Valley. We will visit this famous site where the las Zealots found refuge in 70 AD from the Romans. The late afternoon will find us at the discovery site of the Dead Sea Scrolls, a village called Qumran where it is traditionally taught that John the Baptist may have lived. The oldest documents and manuscripts of the Old Testament were found here. We will have an opportunity to walk through the ruins of Qumran where the scribes prepared copies of the scriptures that would speak from the dust centuries later. From here we will travel to ericho to visit the ruins of the ancient city Joshua conquered (Joshua 6:20). From Jericho, you can see the traditional site of the Temptation of Jesus (Matthew 4:1)

Day  4- Saturday, March 04, 2017 Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, Mount of Beatitudes, Church of the Fish and the Loaves

Today begins an early departure from the hotel to travel to the top of Mount Tabor the traditional site of the Transfiguration of Christ and Peter, James and John. In this special place we will spend a few minutes alone to discuss the importance of this event had the keys that were given to the Presidency of the Priesthood here. After our visit to the Mt of Transfiguration we will travel to Capernaum where so many wonderful events and teachings of the Savior took place. This was the city that Christ called is home. Here He taught and lived with Peter's family. The foundation of the synagogue where the Savior taught is existing with a 4th century synagogue standing on the same foundation. We will stop at the Mount of Beatitudes where we will ponder the restoration of the higher law and read the beatitudes while overlooking the Sea of Galilee. We will then visit Tabga where the traditional site of the feeding of the five thousand took place where one on the most famous mosaics exists of the loaves and fishes. We will have lunch near the Sea of Galilee. Following our lunch we will have a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee and see how the early apostles would cast their nets into the sea. While on the boat we will discuss the miracles of walking on water and the calming of the sea that took place there. Before the day is through we will stop at the Jordan River and discuss the Baptism of Christ at the hands of John, and discover the scriptural meaning of this most important ordinance. At the end of the day we will return to our hotel

Day  5- Sunday, March 05, 2017 Galilee, Nazareth, Cana & Megiddo

This morning we will travel south and west from Galilee seeing the city of Nazareth and stoping at Cana where the first miracleof changing water to wine was done at the wedding feast.  Later we will enter the Valley of Armageddon and stop at Solomon's fortified city of Megiddo, At Megiddo we will see the ruins of this famous city of Solomon and Ahab and be able to walk through the underground water system. Next we will stop at Mt. Carmel and learn of the events surrounding the sacrificial contest that took place between Elijah and the priests of Baal.  Before arriving in Jerusalem we'll stop at Caesarea, the ancient ‘Roman Capital of Palestine. Here we discuss Paul's imprisonment and the first gentile convert, Cornelius, a Roman centurion. We will also discuss Paul's account of his vision while on the road to Damascus to King Agrippa. While at Caesarea We will visit the picturesque old Roman aqueduct that brought fresh water to Caesarea. We will overnight in Jerusalem.

Day  6- Monday, March 06, 2017 Jerusalem, Old City, Southern Wall Excavations, Western Wall, Pool of Bethesda, Antonia Fortress, Via Dolorosa, Church of the Holy Sepulchre

This morning we will ascend to the place where the Temples of both Solomon and Herod once stood. We will see the Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa Mosque. We will visit the original Pools of Bethesda, and the pavement, or judgment hall where Pilate condemned Christ. We will walk on the traditional route of the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. We will have lunch on our own at the Jewish Quarter or Jaffa Gate. We will make our way to the Pool of Siloam and the Western Wall. and the Davidson Center to walk on the Southern Steps to explore the excavations south of the Temple Mount. Here we will walk on the sidewalks and stairs that Christ trod as he entered the Temple area. We will discuss the Triumphal Entry as we stand on the very stones that the Savior walked into the city.

Day  7- Tuesday, March 07, 2017 Jeruslaem, Mount of Olives a, Garden of Gethsemane,  Upper Room, House of the High Priest Caiaphas, Garden Tomb

Today we retrace the footsteps of our Savior during the last few hours of his life beginning with a visit to the Mount of Olives and descend to the Garden of Gethsemane. We will have a private spot in the garden to contemplate the Atonement and discuss the mission of the Life of Christ. We will visit the traditional site of the Upper Room and the Last Supper and the house of Caiaphas. Our highlight day concludes at the site of Golgotha and the Garden Tomb and discuss the life, death and resurrection of the Savior.

Day  8- Wednesday, March 08, 2017 Shrine of the Book, Bethlehem, Church of the Nativity, Shepherds Field

Today we begin by visiting. Shrine of the Book and the Model City of Jerusalem so that we can get a better understanding of the lay-out of the ancient city of Jerusalem, and see the display of the Dead Sea Scrolls. From there we will travel to Bethlehem to see the traditional site of the birth of Christ and a visit to the ‘Shepherd’s Fields” to get a better understanding of the events of the Nativity. We will be near the fields of Boaz where Ruth has a great place for our lunch. 

Day  10- Thursday, March 09, 2017 Fly home or extend your trip

Either depart for home from Tel Aviv (TLV) or on to an optional extension Tour in Egypt with a Nile River Cruise.


Day  1-Thursday, Fly to Cairo (CAI)

We arrive in the land of the Pharaohs, Jacob, Joseph and Israel during the famine! Upon arrival in Cairo we meet our guide and driver who will transport us to the hotel for dinner and rest for the remainder of the evening. We relax tonight as we prepare for the adventurous travel ahead.

Day  2-Friday, March 10, 2017 Egyptian Museum. Explore the Coptic Church, the Mohammed Ali Mosque

Today we travel back to ancient Egypt with a full day of touring to the wonders of the ancient world, some of which date back to 1000+ years prior to Abraham. We spend time at one of the seven wonders of the world- the pyramids. Cheops, with an original height of 496 feet, is the most colossal pyramid ever built. Today, we will also see the Sphinx and tour the Egyptian Museum, location of Tutankhamen's treasures and ancient remains.

Day  3-Saturday, March 11, 2017 Fly to Luxor. Board your Nile Cruise boat. Visits to Luxor and Karnak temples.

We plan to visit the Temple of Karnak (temple of the New Kingdom period) and the East Bank of the Nile. It was during this period that the bondage and Exodus occurred. Karnak second to Giza’s Pyramids, is one of Egypt’s most important Pharaonic sites. We visit the famous Temple of Luxor, which was founded in the reign of Amenhotep III, grandson of the pharaoh of the Exodus.

Day  4-Sunday, March 12, 2017 Visit the Necropolis of Thebes, Valley of the Kings and Queens, Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon. Sail to Esna and cross the locks. Continue to Edfu for overnight.

We will visit the Valley of the Kings (where many ancient pharaohs were buried) and the famous Temple of Hatshepsut, the princess who perhaps pulled baby Moses out of the Nile River. This temple may have been designed by Moses.  

Day  5-Monday, March 13, 2017 Temple of Horus in Edfu. Sail to Kom Ombo to visit the Temple shared by the gods Sobek and Haroeris. Sail to Aswan and overnight.

Day  6-Tuesday, March 14, 2017 Disembark. Visit the High Dam of Aswan, Granite Quarry, Unfinished Obelisk, and Temple of Philae. Fly to Cairo for dinner and overnight.

Day  7-Wednesday, March 15, 2017 Visit the ancient capital of Memphis. The Step Pyramid can be seen at Sakkara. See the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx.

Day  8-Thursday, March 16, 2017 Depart Egypt and arrive in the USA

After breakfast at the hotel we will go to the Cairo Airport for our flight homeward
